Frugal Friday – Wart removal

November 20, 2009

Wart removal is not something that is usually discussed with polite company but is, unfortunately something that many people are plagued with.

DH was one of those people. He tried many of the conventional over the counter treatments with out success. Even treatment given directly from our family doctor didn’t work.

Thanks to Google, DH came acroos a frugal treatment using what most of us have in our homes.

Vinegar.

Here is a link on wirh the how-to.

I am happy to say that the warts are nearly gone!

I am not a doctor and only mention this treatment as an example of what worked for someone I know. Please consult your physican before starting any treatment.

I find vinegar works for tons of things like that. For stinky feet, soak them in vinegar and it's gone for a long time. My husband's are horrible in the summer, and just has to be done once in a while, and no smell at all. (hot workboots i guess, and totally worth the price of vinegar). He teases me that i'm like that guy in my big fat greek wedding with his windex, i spray vinegar on everything!! Good tip!
